Awesome place, awesome hosts and so warm and comfy. A great place to stay in Methven. Positive: It was really spacious and had everything we needed. The neighbourhood was lovely and quiet. With the snowfall and cold weather the fire was a bonus in keeping us cozy and warm and for drying our washing on the rack provided. It was very nice to arrive at 5pm on day one to find the fire set for a quick start to warming up the property. The beds were super comfy and the master ensuite shower was enormous with a rainfall shower head - wish we had one at home. All communication with the host was prompt and friendly. It was a great place to stay at. Negative: Nothing really. One very minor fix would be to pop a bit of CRC on the master bedroom and ensuite doors as they are squeaking but that didn’t stop us enjoying our stay at all.

Lovely, comfortable home for a family. Good location with parks and restaurants nearby Positive: Good location with park nearby for the kids. Very comfortable home. Negative: The entire house is covered in cobwebs. There are no pegs for the clothesline or clothes dryer which was challenging as we are travelling.

Positive: Clean, comfortable, good location.

Positive: Modern house in a quiet location. Heat pump. 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Smart TV. Everything is really new. All matching wine glass, cups and plates. Negative: Lack of shampoo (I should have read what is provided at the house first) No coat hangers. We like cooking so a bit more pots and pans will be ideal. However the house does provide cling wrap, aluminum foil and baking paper which are convenient.

Beautiful home, well looked after and well equipped. Positive: Great layout of rooms, worked well with our family with grandparent joining us Negative: Would be great if the curtains in the bedrooms were darker. Master room was good, but the others didn’t have blackout which is just tricky when you have little kiddos and it’s summer :)
